Sister to Botticelli   2018

The Sister to Botticelli photographs parallel my previous series depicting a woman, a place and a symbolic dress within a conceptual narrative.  Sister to Botticelli, in homage to the Italian ideal, presents beauty of design as the predominant element. The stillness of the woman’s pose exudes introspection as she is encased in the elegant design of her fashionable dress, red shoes, sultry red lipstick and the distinctive interior architecture.
