Meadow and Me          2023

Meadow and Me is the eleventh in a series of photographs which visually weave together encoded cultural messages of personal social histories and elaborates the identities of individual women.

Meadow and Me is a literal recreation of that which gives me solace – a summer meadow filled with wildflowers, an old yellow handstitched quilt, a thermos of tea, a journal and east coast fiddle music. This brought me peace during the agonizing year of my son’s cancer, his care and his death.
